Breakdown voltage of electrode gap and effect of environmental on breakdown

Abstract

The analysis of breakdown voltage due to the environmental conditions have been investigated by several researchers based on experimental rather than mathemathical analysis.In this project, an appropriate methode is used to develop a mathematical equation of breakdown voltage that shows many environmental and physical effect on breakdown voltage by using dimensional analysis (DA) technique. Dimensional analysis provides a strategy for choosing relevant data and can form a relationship between the variables. To verify the model, some experimental data which obtained from previous study compared with mathematical equation in order to validate and finalized the developed equation. This model, helps us to predict and control the breakdown voltage behaviour.
