Abstract
Safety device is very important for human life. Not only to save them from premature death but also from disabling injuries. This project developed a safety device which prevents an intoxicated person from driving vehicle on road. The device works base on blood alcohol content (BAC) of the driver, using MQ-3 alcohol sensor and PIC16F877A microcontroller. The output peripheral of this device are LCD 2x16 to displays the estimated value, LED and buzzer to warn the user, and a relay which is connected wirelessly to disable the car ignition system at certain BAC percentage of driver.
