Karakter 7B Mukmin cemerlang

Abstract

Islam strongly emphasizes character building of each individual Muslim to enable them to become caliph who bring blessings to mankind. The main axis of the individual Muslim to become a dynamic and pious caliph is located on the development of spirituality based on the Quran and Hadith. This paper is the result of a study using content analysis method to Riyad al-Salihin, that is wrote by Imam al-Nawawi. The content of the book was categorized the main branch of the Muslim character of the discussion and debate based on the use of verses from the Quran and Hadith by him. The findings indicate that there are seven characters Excellence amongst Mu’min that form the acronym Character ‘7B’, the character ‘Berihsan’ (Divine engagement) (CB1), Character ‘Berakhlak’ (CB2), Character ‘Bersosial’ (CB3), Character ‘Beribadah’ (CB4), Character ‘Beradab’ (CB5), Character ‘Berjihad and Berilmu’ (CB6), and the character ‘Berbatasan’ (CB7). Each character 7B generate important model in the construction of this character. The implications of the findings are also yielding Characters Model 7B that can be used as the core curriculum of Islamic education which leads towards forming an Islamic society that is more dynamic and righteousness.
