Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify the effects of computer-supported collaborative learning on students' learning and how computer-supported collaborative learning improves students' learning performance in Chemistry. A meta-analysis was conducted systematically to review and synthesize relevant related studies. The finding shows the most impact of CSCL in learning is enhancing students' understanding. Other than that, CSCL is also reported to be able to enhance performance, interaction, motivation, attitudes, problem solving, achievement and critical thinking. The result also shows that CSCL can significantly improve students' learning performance in Chemistry.
