Abstract
ln Malaysia, sexual health education is taught various subjects namely lslamic education, moral education, science, additional science and biology. teachers were not enthusiastic to deliver the right message on sexual health education. the teaching process considered taboo, incomplete, lack depth and insufficient. the lslamic education teachers were found not to have related the topic on a wider scale concerning sexual issues within the lslamic context. the present study examined the perceptions of lslamic education teachers regarding sexual health education elements in lslamic education. the respondents of the study included 10 lslamic education teachers using structured interview. the study has generated important empirical findings. this information is important to facilitate the comprehensive sexual health education in Malaysian schools.
