Abstract

A preliminary study of the relationship between the utilization of self-regulated learning strategies and the internalization of moral virtues is conducted to identify potential problems, which might affect the result before the instrument is ready to be used in the full-scale survey. A set of questionnaires was distributed by a respective lecturer to 50 engineering students in a polytechnic. The collected data were analysed in 3 steps of analysing preliminary data using SPSS 19.0, which are (1) Getting to know the data, (2) Summarizing the data, and (3) Confirming to what the data reveals.
