Abstract

The bullwhip effect occurs when the demand is faced with large fluctuations and the information flowing through the supply chain distorted. It mentions the small change on the side of a system can bring about great influence on the other side which reduces the efficiency of the supply chain. According to huge quantity of production in construction industry Bullwhip effect is one of the important factors which affecting on the supply chain. This study tries to evaluate the effects of bullwhip in supply chain for different method of construction and manufacturing (IBS and Conventional). It helps to identify the preference method for eliminating bullwhip effects.
