Pembangunan perumahan Iskandar Malaysia dan faedahnya kepada rakyat tempatan

Abstract

Iskandar Malaysia will become a futuristic town. In newspaper front page spread out various stories, such as news on planning would be exercised. Most of the news delivered is about mega projects and development projects for local people. Iskandar Malaysia which covered area of 2,216.3 will have various types of investment and development. There is various kind of development that had and shall be developed in Iskandar Malaysia. This study focus of physical development policy and strategy in Nusajaya, housing development and Iskandar’s development planning Malaysia for local people. This study also involves seven physical development strategies which became catalyst to development in Iskandar Malaysia. For writing study, data achieved of reference based on primary and secondary source and source obtained through distribute questionnaire and interview with officers in IRDA, JPBD, UEM LAND and UPEN. Study found that there is pro and cons in housing development at Nusajaya are mainly from involvement of local people. However, study just focus to housing development in Nusajaya only. As such, writer has proposed on development follow-up study Iskandar Malaysia from investment aspects.
