Abstract

In an information-based society, we are constantly confronted with radical changes and the need to create new attitudes towards new situations stemmed from the computer technology. The widespread use of information technology or information communication technology has indirectly increased the ethical problems. Issues caused by computer technology use such as privacy protection, information gaps and many others basically have three unique characteristics. Many higher learning institutions in Malaysia and in other countries have incorporated information technology or information communication technology courses into their curriculum in order to provide knowledge of computer and information communication technology to their undergraduate and postgraduate students. As a result, this basic knowledge is essential in making the undergraduates or graduates students to become computer literate and therefore, them more marketable in seeking for jobs.
