Abstract

A study of vibratory signals is used in order to evaluate the condition of the dried vacuum pump. The use of smart data-driven health performance in manufacturing facilities minimizes maintenance expenses. Monitoring reductions in machine performance or degraded performance will make maintenance scheduling more effective. Measuring the performance of the dried vacuum pump before an unexpected failure allows early troubleshooting and industrial-specific pump replacement. The semblance analysis is used for the assessment of a healthy vacuum pump and a long-operated pump which is about to fail. Significant differences in the semblance analysis suggest significant reductions in pump performance and maintenance. This indicator is very important for industrial players so that proper early action can be taken. This early action extends the life of the pump before severe failure.
