Abstract

Family takaful is one of the branches of business in the takaful business. Family Takaful is one of the biggest contributors to our Takaful Sincere company. The purpose of this study is to identify the factors that influence consumer selection on the takaful agent and the marketing techniques used by the agent. This is because marketing has different techniques but is effective in promoting products and services. Family takaful is a form of personal protection that protects policyholders and beneficiaries from catastrophic events. The wide range of family takaful products on the market provides an opportunity for agents to compete for customer satisfaction. This study applies interview methods to selected takaful agents. The authors find that the existence of the Islamic Financial Services Act 2013 (IFSA 2013) has influenced the marketing pattern of family takaful products for each agent. Introduced grants give agents the option to diversify in the promotion of takaful protection.
