Abstract

Printing was a process for producing copies of text and images using ink. Nowadays, printing service was no longer a strange thing to everyone especially for those who are in the field of education as a students in schools, colleges or university. Almost every week or day they have to go to a print shop to obtain this service for printing reports, class tasks and notes as needed. However, the problem in terms of time, vehicles, money and safety factors was the major constraints for them to get this service. Currently, visually printing services is no longer a foreign thing in Malaysia. Reservation printing service can now be done through online in more easier, fast and secure way. Variety of payment methods are provided and give more advantages and attractions for consumers to use the service. The main goal of this project is to develop a system to help users make reservations and ordering through online for printing service in a more convenient and effective. Based on the prototype methodology that been used, the system will be developed using the PHP programming language and MySQL database. Outcome of the project was a system that is capable of allowing customers to make reservation printing services for documents. Besides, it also providing proof read service and review thesis type setting based on Malaysia institutions of higher education.
