Abstract
This paper discussed the effect of vowel (fatha, kasra and damma) in Arabic consonants. These vowels are added to the basic consonants with three simple diacritics using the utterances of every dental consonant concerned by Malaysian children. The dental consonants refer to the consonants utter using dental medium. It is called the place of articulation at labiodentals, dental and interdental. The formant frequencies produced for each place of articulation are study based on their spectrogram. The visualization of the spectrogram makes the formants easily being identified by normal human being's vision. The formants (F1, F2 and F3) are averaged and the results show the different increment and decrement compare to utterances of single phoneme. F1 is decreased for all observed consonants. Meanwhile F2 and F3 changes according to its manner of articulation, where in this study the tabulation are plosive and fricative.
