Abstract
This study was conducted in order to study the leadership style of the headmaster and the stages motivation of teachers in the Primary School of the District Muar, Johor. In addition the aim of this study is to look at the differences of leadership style towards the motivation stage based on sex and ethnic as well as the relationship of the leadership style towards the stage of teacher motivation. This qualitative study was conducted among 179 teachers who have been selected using random sampling. The instrument used to obtain the views of teachers on the leadership style of the teacher is using the questionnaire of the Leader Behavior Description Questionnaire (LBDQ) which has been customized to follow the suitability. The questionnaire is using the structured task dimensions and consideration dimension that practiced by a headmaster. By using SPSS version 20, income analysis study carried. The result of study showed that there is a significant relationship between the leadership styles of the teachers with the motivation stage teacher in the Primary School of the District Muar, Johor with a correlation value of r = 0.177 (p>0.05). Even so, both the relationship of the variables has a very weak stage of correlation
