Abstract

The aim of this research is to study the headmaster’s leadership style and teachers‘ motivation in two primary schools in Kota Tinggi District. There were 50 teachers in Felda Lok Heng and LKTP Felda Lok Heng Selatan primary school chosen as respondens. All data were analysed by Statistical Package For Social Science (SPSS) version 16.0. To achieve the aim of the research, it is carried out by using Questionaire Observation Approach as quantitative research tool. The data is generated by using descriptive statistical and inferens. Based on analysis made, the researcher found the questionares result shown, the headmaster leadership style was at the top level was supportive leadership which its mean represented 16.5 involment leadership with the total of mean at 15.8. then, instructional leadership with mean of 15.18 and the final level is succesfull-oriented leadership with 14.9. It is also shown that teachers‘ motivation was also at the top level. The result of that Pearson Correlation Test shown that there was significant relationship between headmaster leadership style and teachers‘ motivation level.
