Abstract
This research is entitled Importance of Intellectual Capital in Innovation Company and was conducted for the purpose of investigating intellectual capital on overall innovation and R&D activities in this company. Intellectual capital consists of four components consisting human capital, structural capital, relational capital and spiritual capital. This research was a case study and qualitative approach was applied to gather information in order to get detailed information. Interview method was employed. The interviewees were Marketing Manager, Human Resources Manager, Factory Operation Manager, administrative workers, factory workers, stockist, IT personnel and customers. The information from the interviews was analyzed using codes and transcription. Finding of the study indicates that structural capital has contributed largely to this company’s innovation. Recommendations are made to the company are to increase human capital that have high expertise, to have a systematic documentation, cooperation with organization environment and strengthening spiritual value. Future researches are suggested to use instruments other than interviews and widen the scope to more than one company or industry
