Abstract
The risk is believed to be unavoidable. With regard to the public sector which demands transparency and performance improvements with limited funds, the risks faced by government agencies will be growing and increasing. Therefore, an understanding of risk become important to be able to determine priorities and program strategies in the achievement of organizational goals. The success of the project depends on how the risk can be managed. Proper risk management regarded as the key factors of project success. This study identifies the risk in toll road project. The main methodologies used in data collections for this study are literature reviews and secondary data collection. Descriptive statistic analysis is used to figure and describe the types of risk and its occurrence. The result shows that there are five types of risk that identified in this study which are design change (46,2%), work accident (23,1%), severe weather condition (15,4%), late equipment supply (7%) and site safety (7%). This design risk greatly affects the construction activities JORR W1.
