Abstract
The purpose of this study is to identify the effectiveness of cooperative learning among Year 4 students’ achievement. This experimental research has involved 52 Year 4 students experimentally. The main objectives of this research are to identify the effectiveness of cooperative learning compared to traditional learning and to identify students’ perception of the cooperative learning. In this research, researcher put the problem solving as the item to evaluate students’ achievement. Researcher analyses the data quantitatively using SPSS 16.0 and also qualitatively. Research findings show that cooperative learning is more effective towards students’ achievement compared to traditional learning. Students also give positive perception towards cooperative learning in classroom.
