Radio over Fiber system have been frequently implemented into wireless communication in order to acquire high data rate and high capacity due to utilization of high capacity optical fiber and the flexibility of wireless network. In 2005, K.Imai et. al. proposed the network which distributed the 3G cellular phone over GE-PON system. In addition, H. Le Bras and M. Moignard (2006) demonstrated the distribution of 3G Base Stations on PON architecture. Both studies about the sharing infrastructure and equipment between several Base Stations through PON and GEPON which were giving rise to a low cost solution, as the number cell increases. According to keep up the development of technology, we study the possibility of distribution 4G Base Stations on GPON architecture. The aim of this work is to design the network model using Optisystem simulation tool, then analyze the performances of the networks according to simulation results. The performance parameters were BER, Q-Factor, OSNR, and power budget. In this work, we proposed two network models, which were RoF transceiver model on GPON Architecture for sharing infrastructure of a BS and distribution of eight BSs, respectively. We used SCM to combine 150 channels in the first model, and applied SCM/WDM to combine 8 BS that support up to 1200 channels in the second model. These network models have been modeled and simulated done successfully and achieved the good performance networks which were meet the standard requirement of ITU-T recommendation G.984 for GPON architecture.
