Abstract
Simultaneous Transmit and Receive (STAR) antennas are capable of sending and receiving a signal at the same time on the same frequency and can double communication data rates in wireless point-to-point communications. However, STAR systems are subject to significant risk of self-interference, or coupling, with the transmitted signal, unintentionally disrupting the antenna’s receiver input.
