Abstract

Increasing in energy consumption that relies on fossil fuels has caused a crisis in energy sources availability and an increase in the amount of emissions such as carbon dioxide, emissions threaten life on earth due to global warming and climate change, this promotes many research movements in the areas of clean and renewable energy to reduce emissions and capture it from atmosphere. This research aims to convert carbon dioxide to fuel using solar energy, driven by the chemical reaction. The experiment investigates the possibility of converting CO2 into a flammable substance, 'fuel,' and adds economic value to it. The efficiency of converting solar energy into fuel in this experiment is (1.84%) for the first cycle and (1.06%) for the second cycle.
