Abstract
enaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) electricity supply line in Peninsular Malaysia is one of the mega projects implemented by the Federal Government for the benefit of the people. The enactment of the Electricity Supply Act 1990 (Act 447) provides a method for TNB to enter owned land, state land, Permanent Forest Reserves (HSK) and others for the purpose of installing high voltage supply line structures. In addition, there are other laws to enable the construction of alignment and regulation of TNB electricity supply lines other than Act 447 and Act 610. Both of these acts must be read together or in pari materia with Act 56, Act 486 and Act 313. In Perak, the decision of the Perak State Executive Council (MMK) is also made according to the needs from time to time to be used as a guideline for the management of government lands and HSK involved with TNB supply line in Perak. Various initiatives are taken by the department / agency that manage the lands involved with TNB's electricity supply line in Perak to improve the management of these lands in an effort to optimize land use and yield. Enforcement of new methods or initiatives related to the management of the lands involved is comprehensive and environmental conservation factors are also applied in land management best practices in the TNB grid line. All factors and elements whether involving governance, legislation, guidelines and others that are seen to have a positive impact on the management of lands under the TNB electricity supply line in Perak in particular can be used as a guide to the authorities nationwide.
