Abstract

Android smartphone is the key elements that contribute to the success of smartphone brands such as RedMi, Samsung, Vivo, Asus, XiaoMi, OnePlus. Consumers should have a strong purchasing power to make the purchase on Android smartphone. The concept of purchasing power coincides an individual needs and identify his or her ability to purchase the goods and prevent bankruptcy in the future. Consumers would like to obtain a unique feature of products but in reality, their monthly salary forces them to control their spending in order to purchase an Android smartphone. From the statistics, results show that there have Android and other Operating System in smartphones sales. Android smartphones have the highest percentage of sales and other Operating System shows the lowest percentage of sales. Hence, Android smartphones have significantly positioned in the mind of consumers. It is estimated that brand loyalty to other operating system is 85 to 88 per cent and Google's Android system is 89 to 91 per cent. There is an impact of product features towads the intention to purchase of Android smartphones. The results shows there is a strong positive relationship between products features and intention to purchase of Android smartphones.
