Abstract

The study that is the identification of the impact of work-life balance on the innovative behaviour of employees has been supported with the primary study. However, the essence of conducting this research work was to determine the moderating effect of HPWS on the relationship between WLB and innovative behaviour of employees. Therefore, the study was based on the quantitative research design where the designed model was constructed on 6 hypotheses. The three factors of WLB were included that found the significant impact of WLB on employee innovative behaviour. However, the study does not observe the moderating effect of HPWS on the relationship between work-life balance and innovative behaviour. In this sense, it can also be suggested that the innovative behaviour of employees working for oil and gas industry in the Sultanate of Oman private sector organisations can be improved by concentrating on the discussed factors of WLB life. The study highlights the importance of forming the work-life balance and suggests employees can be encouraged to develop innovative behaviour when the WLB is ensured.
