Abstract
In this study, two types of novel hybrid nanomaterials, i.e., graphene oxide‐manganese ferrite (GMF) and titania nanotube‐manganese ferrite (TMF), were synthesized and used as adsorbent for removing arsenate (As(V)) ions from water via adsorption mechanisms. The synthesized nanomaterials were characterized by different techniques prior to use in the adsorption process. Batch adsorption studies revealed that the maximum adsorption capacities of GMF and TMF against As(V) are 102.0 and 80.8 mg g−1, respectively, when tested using feed water solution containing 400 ppm As(V).
