Abstract

Peer feedback related researches have recently gained extensive attention as an important dominant tool in improving students’ oral presentation skills. Although there are many types of peer feedback introduced by scholars in the literature related to oral presentation, very little was investigated using peer feedback in a technology-enhanced environment. This study examines the types of peer feedback shared by the participants via Mobile-assisted Language Learning (MALL) platform in learning oral presentation skills. Using purposive sampling and a qualitative research approach, ten undergraduate students practiced oral presentation skills in Telegram application while giving and receiving feedback among themselves for a duration of three weeks. The results highlight two main types of peer feedback and also all the areas of concern when students share peer feedback in Telegram application. It is recommended that all oral presentation instructors, teachers and trainers guide students to use peer feedback in Telegram applications and practice the suggested types of peer feedback in learning oral presentation skills.
