Abstract
In this study, the researcher has developed a PBK entitled ‘Promosi’, a subtopic for subject Perdagangan Form Five. The courseware is then used to analyze four motivational aspects from Model ARCS by John M.Keller, which are attention, relevance, confidence and satisfaction. The methods used are questionnaires, interviews and observation. Twenty one students o f a school in Johor Bahru have been chosen as sample for this study. The results of the 36 IMMS items are processed using the SPSS to get the mean of the four motivational elements studied. The findings show that ‘PBK Promosi’ has a positive relation in all the four elements with the average mean at 4.19. From the interviews, it is learnt that the students are very happy and hope that this teaching technique is used widely in school. The findings o f the observation show that the usage of animation and video is needed by the students to enrich their learning. It is suggested that further studies be carried out in future.
