Abstract

Land disposal activities relating to the case of extension of lease is one of the elements that often bring attention to the Federal Territory Land Executive Committee Meeting debates. The absence of a specific reference sources and a non-systematic practices today merely dragging the lead time for making a sepcific decision. The introduction of Web Based Sistem Maklumat Sokongan Rujukan Keputusan Land Exco In Extension Of Lease Application (SSRKL) will be a new benchmark in dealing with the management of land administration issues. The objective of this study was to identify the potential use of SSRKL prototype in assisting the decision-making activities of the State Authority (SA). This is follow by formulating a data based system for the convenience of all parties in making referrals and ultimately assessing user perceptions towards the application. This study has involved multiple respondents involved in decision-making activities and consists of various levels of employment. Data collection for this study was conducted with the combination of two techniques of observation and qualitative methods through interview session. These data were then analyzed qualitatively. On the finding part, conclucively more than 60 percent of respondent have responded very well to the systems developed. To further enhance the system ability in the future, the writer proposed for system use to be extended to the Federal Territory of Putrajaya and Labuan and to integrate it with any existence system in the making such e-Tanah, so that it will potray a very holistic and concentric approach in land management. This will ultimately uplift the Governmemnt delivery system and image to the eyes of the world.
