Abstract
This paper presents the design of H-shaped Dielectric Resonator Antenna (DRA) of high permittivity (ϵr = 30) for future 5G application especially above 6 GHz. The antenna is consisted with a rectangular shaped dielectric on a ground plane and it is excited by a coaxial probe. The proposed antenna has impedance bandwidth of 58%. The average gain within the band is 5.5dBi. The result shows the ability of this antenna to be used for future 5G application.
