Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of the Parenting@Work Program on the level of workfamily conflict among married workers in two organizations located in Johor, the southern part of Malaysia. This research utilizes a non-equivalent control group design method consisting of one experimental group and one control group. The experimental group and control group are comprised of 17 and 13 working parents, respectively. This study adopted the Work-Family Conflict Scale to measure the level of work-family conflict among the respondents. Data analysis was conducted using the Statistical Package of Social Sciences (SPSS) version 18 and descriptive analysis was conducted to examine the effects of the program by comparing the differences between the experimental and control group’s pre- and post-test mean scores. The final result indicated that the program gives significant effects to the level of work-family conflict.
