Abstract

Many studies stated that engineers are people who use graphical communications the most. In order to master the graphical communication skills, they need to acquire an appropriate level of visualization skills. This study is carried out in order to determine the level of visualization skills among engineering students in Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). Respondents involved in this study consist of undergraduates engineering students in UTM. A standard test is used in order to get the results which then was analyzed using descriptive analysis and categorized into low, moderate and high level of visualization skills. The result of this research founds that engineering student's in UTM exhibit a moderate level of visualization skills. Recommendations are then made in order to enhance the students' visualization skills based on previous studies.
