Abstract

The main idea behind this study is to develop a burning rate test rig to test solid propellant performance. This paper describes the development of the burning rate test rig and the experimental tests on burning propellant. Burning rate test was conducted on a standard strand burner test rig under atmospheric pressure. The results obtained from the test were then analyzed. From the result, it was found that the burning rate of the propellant ranges from 3.2 cm/s to 3.6 cm/s.
