The purpose of this paper is to understand the critical issues in defining sex crimes. Also, to educate people on the alertness of the sex crimes that had taken place over a decade, which has created a heavy impact on the nation as a whole. Heart breaking news and incidents has left sad memories for families of those who have lost their loved ones. This paper explains the different types of sex crimes. In addition, accelerating statistical rate report is reviewed on the standing of crime issues in the country. Some key findings from the prospective researchers in Malaysia are also noted as this could be of use for further research purposes. Examples of incidences occurred in the past and present has been studied and brought forward to obtain more security and government accountability for the safety of the nation from sexual predators.
