Abstract
Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Outsourcing have been widely recognised as important tools to enhance organisational performance. Each has their own key characteristics, procedures and processes, advantages and disadvantages, and has been viewed in various ways by many parties. As both are commonly implemented in separation of each other, this paper attempts to discuss the possible links between SCM and outsourcing. The views on SCM and outsourcing are respectively elaborated, followed by discussions on possible relationship and the study conducted.
