Abstract
Tribology is the interdisciplinary subject related to surface physics and chemistry, material science, fluid dynamics, and so on. Therefore, interdisciplinary approach is important to clarify the tribology problem. Interdisciplinary studies and discussion on the future directions of the fields are strongly encouraged.
