Abstract

This study discusses the practice of leadership and organizational management strategy adopted by the headmaster of the Sekolah Kebangsaan Bandar Maharani, Muar .The Study aimed to get a more in-depth details regarding the practice of teacher leadership and organizational management strategy based on the success achieved in various fields to gain recognition as a High Performing School Cohort 3 in 2012 . A factor of this success is the result of efforts of all parties, including the school's headmaster and wisdom to lead the school community to move towards high performance school.This case study used the qualitative methods of study specifically about leadership practices implemented and organizational management strategies used to drive the school's goals and subsequently gained recognition as one of the schools in the country is the High Performance . Observations , interviews and analysis of the data obtained found that the teachers surveyed play its role as an effective leader and visionary . Overall study analysis found that all leadership practices and organizational management strategy is based on the principles approach holding teachers constantly evaluating the plan , approach and results based on the SWOT analysis, Win -Win Consept and Research & Development as well as the cooperation of all parties concerned in the management of school
