Pengurusan teknologi maklumat dan komunikasi di sekolah kebangsaan dan Sekolah Rendah Jenis Kebangsaan Cina di daerah Muar, Johor

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate the Informatian and Communication Technology (ICT) Management in Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) and Sekolah Rendah Jenis Kebangsaan Cina (SRJKC) in Muar district. This study involved 100 schools from which 63 of them were, Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) and 37 were Sekolah Rendah Jenis Kebangsaan Cina (SRJKC). The total number of respondents involved was 278. The data were collected through quantitative method through questionnaires. The data analysis revealed that the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Management levels of both SK and SRJKC schools were high (mean values of 4.01 and 4.00, respectively). The levels of implementation of Smart Partnership in both schools were also high (mean values of 3.91 and 3.88, respectively). The data analysis also revealed that, there was no significant difference between both schools in terms of ICT management level. For closure, some suggestions were put forth to improve several weaknesses in the area studied
