Abstract

The present study examined the relationship between supervisor’s ethical leadership and organizational citizenship behaviors through mediating role of affective commitment. For the study 281 respondents were evaluated from banking and insurance companies of Malaysia. Correlation and path coefficient analysis confirmed a positive relationship between SEL and OCB. This result was consistent with the social exchange theory. On the other hand, AC was found to mediate their relationship.
