Abstract
There has been a raft of research on children's favorite place in different environment were taken in varying settings. Thus, the aim of this paper is to present 20 syntheses of related studies from 1970's to the present on the existence of children's favorite place and the reason of their preferences in rural, suburban and urban environments. The differences of children's favorite place between those environments are discussed in this paper. Findings suggest that children's preferences for favorite place are mostly influences by the factor of physical environment, followed by social and individual factors.
