Abstract

There are no limitations in finding and searching for tourism attraction. Not much have been done by the universities in introducing campus tour as one of the creative tools to implement educational sites as tourism attraction. At present, the idea of campus tour is just not to increase the number of future students but also to gain income for the university by involving tourism prospects without neglecting the main goal, namely the education. The facilities and infrastructures that are provided for students, teaching and other staff needs of the universities can be a part of tourism resource and attraction for outside tourists and visitors. To open-up universities as tourism attraction is one the main issues. Also there lies an ideal opportunity for the selected universities to be part of tourism industry. Therefore, a thorough analysis need to be carried out regarding tourism resources, attractions and other factors before the university can claim itself as a tourism attraction. Hence, it is important to use certain means and tools to combine all these resources. These resources should be sufficient enough to be used as two different aspects for the same one attraction. So, the students and teaching staff can use university as education site and the tourists and the visitors can use it as tourism attraction
