Abstract
Imperialist Competitive Algorithm (ICA) is a new optimization algorithm that inspired by socio-political process of imperialistic competition. In this paper an optimization methodology for the design of composite plates is presented. An imperialist competitive algorithm (ICA) is thus evaluated for its recognition.
