    Performance Analysis of MIMO Space-Time Block Coded System in Nakagami Fading Channel with Arbitrary Fading Parameters [Full Text]

    Abstract-
    As MIMO could increase the capacity of the wireless communication system considerably compared with Single Input Single Output (SISO)
    and OFDM could obtain good performances in multipath frequency-selective fading channels, we combine them together with the Space-Time Block
    Coding (STBC) scheme and the Nakagami-m fading model. The Nakagami-m (0.5≤ m<∞) fading model, covering a series of channel conditions in different fading parameters, brings greater flexibility and accuracy than normal, logistic and other distributions. In this regard, we assume that STBC (Space Time Block Codes) with and without CSIT (Channel State Information at Transmitter) for arbitrary Transmitter and Receiver antenna MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) systems. In the analysis, the transmit-receive link that maximizes the instantaneous received signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) is selected for transmission and reception. Exact BER results for SIMO, MISO & MIMO system considering BPSK modulated signals for arbitrary fading figure are validated by MATLAB simulations.

    Left Handed Metamaterial incorporate with Microstrip Antenna Array Design and Analysis

    Abstract—
    This paper describes and analyzes a new structure of left-handed metamaterial (LHM) which consists of a modified square rectangular split ring (MSRR) and a capacitance loaded strip (CLS) used to obtain LHM structure. Simulation and analysis was done using Computer Simulation Technology (CST) software. Parametric studies on the LHM structure were carried out and the effect of frequency and the range of negative value of permeability (-μr) and the negative permittivity (-.r) were observed. The changes in the dimension of MSSR and CLS affect the S11 and S21 of the LHM structure and thus affect the value of permeability and the permittivity. The value of permeability and the permittivity was extracted from the reflection and transmission coefficient data using a Nicolson-Ross-Wier (NRW) approach. Studies proved that the LHM structure can be designed in the frequency range of interest. In order to prove the concept of LHM, an array of LHM is incorporated with a linear polarized 2x2 array patch antenna. The negative refraction index of LHM produces a focusing effect to the radiation of the antenna. Due to this effect, the gain of the antenna increases up to 2 dB and the 3 dB beamwidth becomes narrow.

    Abstract—
    Enterprise resource planning (ERP) are high complex information systems. The implementation of these systems is difficult and high cost, many ERP systems implementation have been classified as failure because they did not implement according to schedule and implementation factors. There are essential features for ERP successful implementation, that can increase implementation success percen-tage. This paper is a review of these factors, that can help organization to detect the best way to surmount ERP problems and most important implementation ways according to these critical factors.This article reviews the problems in trying to implement an ERP. Barriers to study these problems have been classified. Then, based on comments developers of each erp effect has been studied.

    Compact Multisize Electromagnetic Bandgap Structures with Wide Stopband

    Abstract—
    Electromagnetic Band Gap (EBG) has become one of the most promising technologies to be applied for antenna  applications. Research in EBG field has recently received remarkable interest and potentially destined as the future wireless technology. EBG offers the potential for novel and unique capabilities to manipulate electromagnetic waves. In this paper, Multisize EBG structures were investigated. Studies were carried with the goal to explore the possibility of achieving a wide stopband region by employing a multisize arrangement. Investigations were carried for four types of shapes including Circular,Square, Koch-square and Fractal-minkowski. Promising results show that multisize EBG design with equal edge gap offers a wide stopband region with deep attenuation, while sustaining the compact size. Arrangement of the multisize EBG patch is a significant factor in achieving the desired wide stopband as well as the patch’s and via’s size.

    Heat Sink Temperature Profile of Ring Geometry DDR IMPATT Diode

    Abstract—
    In this paper analytically the Laplace Equation of heat transfer is solved with proper boundary conditions to obtain Temperature Distribution inside the semi-infinite heat sink for ring structured DDR IMPATT source. This type of temperature distribution analysis is very much important to design the heat sinks for IMPATT sources for proper and safe operation of them in continuous wave (CW) mode during steady state. Typical heat sinks are designed for a millimeter-wave Si-IMPATT (ring diode) source using diamond and copper as heat sink materials. The analytical solutions of the Laplace Equation with appropriate boundary conditions which provide the temperature distributions inside the heat sinks are presented in graphical forms. Results are provided in the form of necessary graphs and tables.

    At this study, the impact of IT application has been studied on sale rate of small and medium industrial parts well. That is a research in causality or after the occurring sort and related to study of the impact of IT application on sale rate of small and medium industries. At this aim, we defined a statistical society of small and medium manufacturers under the simple sampling by chance. Data gathered by the questionnaires and analyzed in Spss17 software. According to the results with 5% assurance rate (safety rate), IT contributes on sale rate of small and medium industries, considerably.

    Optimization of Channel Coding Rate for Diverse Modulation Techniques and Channel Condition in WCDMA

    Abstract—
    Every kind of mobile transmission performance is always affected by channel mutilations. Major mutilations are dominated by noise, interference and fading which lead to error in received bit stream. Channel coding is one of the solutions to prevail over this problem. Here the rate of channel coding plays a significant role in Bit Error Rate (BER) performance. Moreover, bit error rate for different modulation techniques and different types of channels vary substantially. The main purpose of this pepar is to analyze the bit error rate performance in Wide Band Code Division Multiple Access system for different
    convolutional coding rates, modulation techniques and channel conditions; then find the optimum coding rate from the analysis. Consequently these conditions for WCDMA are considered for analysis- system using QPSK, 16-QAM and 64-QAM modulation technique, transmission through AWGN channel, Rayleigh fading channel and Rician fading channel and convolution coding with three different coding rates.

    Mitigation of Clutter and Range Estimation Using DSSS-Signalling

    Abstract—
    Inspired by recent success of Direct sequence spread-spectrum (DSSS) signal processing communications, we introduce the DSSS based pulse radar concept for radar signal analysis and processing. In this paper the authors deal with the range estimation of target and effects of clutter limits on detection range using DSSS technique under a wide range of environmental conditions. This technology should bring the benefits of both: high sensitivity extended effective range, robustness to ambient or jamming noise, strong resistance to counter measures and interception over continuous wave techniques. Finally this paper addresses how the performance of radar improves by using ground and air-borne DSSS-based signalling techniques for  mitigation of clutter by detecting target and clutter radar crosssections (RCS).

    Artefacts Removal in EEG Signal Using Wavelet Transform and Artificial Neural Network

    Abstract—
    Electroencephalography is a medical imaging technique that reads scalp electrical activity generated by brain structures. The electroencephalogram (EEG) is defined as electrical activity of an alternating type recorded from the scalp surface after being picked up by metal electrodes and conductive media. The EEG measured directly from the cortical surface is called electrocortiogram while when using depth probes it is called electrogram. We will refer only to EEG measured from the head surface. The recognition of epileptic waveform from EEG signal is important physiolgical task as epilepsy is still one of the most frequently occurring disorder. The main goal of this paper is to provide new method to diagnose the epileptic waveform directly from the EEG, by performing quick signal processing which makes it possible to apply in on-line monitoring system. Use of ANN makes the rate of recognition very high and also makes the on-line monitoring and ‘paperless’ task of EEG analysis.

    Motion Estimation and H.264/AVC: A Review

    Image/video compression and coding technique rapidly growing to ease the visual and digital communication. The latest coding standard is H.264/AVC which has been developed by Joint Video Team (JVT) of ISO/IEC’s MPEG and IUT-T’s VCEG (Video Coding Expert Group). This coding standard mainly features for high coding efficiency, which may be twice faster than the existing video coding standard for a given level of fidelity. This paper aims to present a review of recent motion estimation application of H.264/AVC as well as issues that lies on H.264/AVC in multimedia communication and video
    processing. And we analyzed the performance of several motion estimation search technique and compared.
