Workflow is a concept that prioritized on work control and monitoring so that an objective can be gained for a certain business. To achieve this goal, we will proposal a model for workflow computing has been developed in an office environment. This model includes office automation or also known as e-electronic. E-office has been designed with certain multimedia application to support the implementation and business administration in the office. And for that, this paper has been written to discuss about its development architecture model in workflow environment towards e-office and its related issues. A selected office business system has been implemented by using Lotus Notes as a study case where it took place in main office at Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology (FSKTM) in UPM. In addition, the findings from this research has shown that the workflow utilization in e-office environment can bring out some advantages such as accessing and retrieval capability, and information sharing, reduce time consume and effective source utilization.
