Abstract
Programming languages have become an important tool for communication between human and computers. The generation of computer languages has evolved, starting from the first generation in the form of machine language to the sixth generation, which is prone to natural language. This paper will highlight a specification of a new programming language, called AMAL. The language constructs of this programming language use Bahasa Malaysia and is based on the existing programming languages Pascal, Ada and C.
