Abstract

This project proposes the use of palm oil carbon ashes that to be used as earth backfill in galvanized steel grounding system. In this project, the copper usage as a conductor is to be reference for galvanized steel grounding grid system. This is because copper is commonly used in the grounding system because of its high conductivity and anti-corrosion. The purpose of designing grounding system by using galvanize steel with oil palm ashes is to find an alternative method.
