Abstract

This paper deals with design storm for point rainfall data developed using hydrograph system approach. It shows the peak rate, time to peak, and water volume distribution. The frequency statistical analysis, intensity-duration frequency (IDF), and the structure of temporal storm distribution are analyzed using the GEV/PWM method. The probable maximum precipitation (PMP) is also presented. The result of design storm is to make available of hydrologic component in water resources planning and management, especially for urban drainage project.
