Abstract

This studied was to examine the theoritical approach that can be used for client in solving a particular problem in counseling. This study was performed on one client at a school in Johor Bahru that have problems in life. The study focuses on aspects of the problems that have been identified as the problem associated with low self confidence and purposeless. Counselor apply for permission to record the session as a reference and retention counselor. Theory use in the performance of the session is Theory Existensial and this theory has been applied in this session because the client was found have to need to find meaning in life. Counselor also use Rational Emotive Theraphy as a theoritical support for client because of her negative thinking.
