Abstract
This paper describes the development of vehicle security system developed by utilizing the wireless digital communication infrastructure in Malaysia. The project incorporates cellular telecommunication technology together with vehicle security to produce a new invention called ?Vehicle Security System via SMS (VSSS)?. The system is able to send alarm message from the vehicle using SMS messages thus provide additional security to the vehicle.
