Abstract
Tidal phenomena plays a very important role in hydrography and oceanography. In understanding the tidal behaviour, the issue of tidal analysis in determining tidal constituents is important in order to define sea water level and tide prediction. In general, every location needs a long period of observation (18.6 years) to establish precise tidal constituents. However this is not possible in hydrographic survey, especially for offshore engineering.
