The studies about quality of work life have been conducted widely by western researcher but this study is rarely done in Malaysia. This working-paper will discuss yhe findings of the research on the level of quality of work life of foreigner workers who work in Malaysia. This study focused on Indonesian construction workers who are working in Johor Bahru, Skudai. Fifty-five Indonesian construnction workers heve been chosen as research subjects using random sampling method. A questionnaire which was introduced by Walton (1973) which focused on the quality of work life criteria was used to collect the data. The are two qualities of work life criteria tahr are instrinsic criteria – the growth of human ability, continuous development and job safety, workers right in work organization and social related work life, dan extrinsic criteria that includes fair and enough reward, safety and healthty envaironment at work place, social integration in work organization and overall work life. Data have been analysed using descriptive statistic that were percentage, mean and standard deviation. The results show that Indonesian who works in Skudai are satisfied with the qulity of their work life. Based on the quality of work life criteria, the rights in work organisation shows the highest satisfaction (mean = 3.87) among the Indonesian workers then follow by social related work life (mean = 3.77), safety and healthy envaironment at work place (mean = 3.74) and the growth of human ability (mean = 3.67). Overall Indonesian construction workers in Skudai, Johor bahru, Johor perceived their quality of work life as satisfying (mean = 3.66)
